Instagram. Oh how I love you and all your fun ways. As you may know, last week Instagram introduced a new video option that allows its users to record and share up to fifteen seconds of video. I’ve seen some pretty incredible videos so far. It’s truly amazing how creative people can be.
Of course, knitters found this to be the perfect opportunity to share fifteen seconds of ourselves knitting. If you search the #howiknit hashtag, you’ll see dozens of knitters…well, knitting. It’s fascinating! We all knit so differently, but also the same. Kind of like snowflakes; there are no two knitters that knit exactly alike, but we all achieve the same results.
I found myself surprisingly nervous while my husband recorded me knitting. I guess my introverted nature was freaking out a little at the thought of being watched, but it’s all in good fun! Have you posted a #howiknit video? Link it in the comments, I’d love to see it :)
